Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve is always spent at Oma's. (Curtis's Mom) Scott,Heather, Maddie plus mema and uncle Anday always enjoy coming together to celebrate Christmas. We start the evening eating all the shrimp Scott works hard peeling. Snack on different foods and enjoy each others company.
The kids are sitting here waiting nicely for Oma to start handing out presents. After opening the presents the kids play a game with Oma. Find the pickle. She hides a plastic pickle in the tree than one of the kids finds the pickle and gets a extra present.

Heather had a great idea this year with the kids sitting by the fire place looking up waiting on santa.
I really enjoy watching the kids open their presents. We always have a wonderful Christmas Eve at Oma's.

Hello Santa

The kids really love getting their picture taken with Santa. Chason was a little unsure but was fine sitting on santa's lap. He just wasn't going to smile without his brother or sister next to him. I think this year we saw Santa about seven times. I'm not sure we can keep the belief up much longer. Santa just has lots of help. Anybody have any ideas on what to say or do?

Canyon sat on Santa with a huge smile and asked for a motorcycle!!! He received a BMX instead. Better luck next time.

Coral asked Santa for a motorcycle!!! What's with the motorcycles in my family? I tried telling her sometimes we have to wait till we're a little older to get what we want. Also we don't always get what we may ask for.

CHASON'S FIRST PICTURE WITH SANTA.

NEW COMPUTER

WOW! For the last month our home has been without a computer. You really don't know what you have till it's gone. I've missed so much on my blog reading, face book and many emails. Curtis and I finally broke down and went looking this morning and found a nice little computer. I think the screen takes most of our desk up now. I hope in the next couple of weeks I can get back on track and update everyone on our family. As most of you know so many things can happen in a short amount of time with three little ones. Just a short list of fun happening in the Stumbaugh Home. Canyon has turned 4 and has said no more naps. He's running away if he has to take one. (Little Bill gave him that idea). Both Coral and Canyon have practiced with the scissors on their hair. Coral went a little to far cutting all her hair. For Christmas Canyon received from Santa a drum set plus a cool new bike. Yes, mommy loves him playing drums as long it's in the sun room or basement. He also grew another 4 inches. Coral well she's may baby girl. If you didn't know she's turned 5. She just loves the world. She loves to perform for us with her beautiful singing, playing the guitar and now playing the drums also. She's cutting her own hair these days and shaving her legs. She will also tell you she loves being a mommy. She takes really good care of her baby brother Chason. Also a pull to my heart she loves to spend the night at grandma's every chance she gets. She and Canyon have always been my stay at home kids. They never wanted to leave home without mom and dad. Things are changing. As for Chason he's getting big way to fast. Walking around with no help and getting a personality. He really loves his brother, sister and falls over for his daddy. He's able to talk a little saying mama, dadddaa, bye, hi and points at everything. He's turning the big 1 next Sunday. WOW time really does go by fast.
As for Curtis and I were still racing life every day keeping up with the little ones. We hope within the next few months to be able to get away for the first time in five years by ourSELVES. Til then our lives are at home watching our children grow.

I Might be "5", But I'm a MOMMY!!!'

Yesterday was busy. Family coming over one after another. The kids busy bringing everything new they have out in the living room. The baby walking and getting into everything and I mean everything. I go about my day and can handle just about anything that comes my way. YA RIGHT. Not really paying to much attention to the older kids. (laugh 4 and 5) Their just playing in their room for a change. WRONG. Coral comes out, "mommy I'm grown up." I look and wasn't sure what to do or say. All of Coral's hair in the front is GONE. The sides and front are so short. I had pulled her hair into a pony tail and only the pony tail is their. All I could do was laugh. I can finally join the club of "little hair cutters."
Not much could be done with the hair it's just really short.
Than this morning my big girltells me she's the mommy. Okay you can be the mommy. Next I put the kids in the tub, Curtis and I are in the kitchen working on their new MP3 players. We look at each other and say it's pretty quite. I say it's okay let me finish and I'll go check. I look on the floor Chason is sitting their. What could be wrong. So I finally go back into the bathroom finding Coral holding my pink razor in her hand shaving her beautiful women legs.
Look mommy, "I'm a mommy now TOO". Oh, Coral what am I going to do. I had read a article about a stranger who moved into a couple'a home about a month ago. It was there 5 year old daughter. I thought to myself I'm so glad Coral hasn't changed. She's always so sweet and never really getting into trouble. I love this age, but my daughter is 100% changing. She's a normal kid.

Sing Along With Santa

Our home town has this little theater down town that the kids love going to. So this past week the theater is starting it's 1st annual, "Sing Along with Santa". The kids had a blast. Our family friend Kristy loves bringing the kids everywhere with her. Singing with Santa was her idea. Good job Kristy.

Santa came from the north pole after the third song and walked up on stage and started singing Christmas carols. The kids were so thrilled. He walked around and talked with the kids and afterwards we had our picture taken with him. Sorry, their going to mail me the picture. This is definitely going to be on the top of the list every year.
