Shippensburg Park

We live only minutes from Shippensburg Park and for the first time went for a visit. Coral and Canyon enjoy running around the park and playing in the sand. Chason is crawling all around the place and had a blast in the grass. He loves sitting in the swing and going up high. I really enjoy going to new parks with the kids. If you know of any please let me know.

FOR MY HUSBAND

Happy Birthday to a wonderful husband and father. Curtis thank you for being a understanding, trustworthy and incredible husband. It's make me feel so blessed to be able to share your birthday with you. I feel grateful to be married to a man who is a fantastic father.I love sitting back watching how Coral looks at you and lays her hands on yours as she looks into your eyes knowing you are truly her hero. Canyon he so much wants to be just like his daddy. He loves learning from you and watches everything you do.RIGHT DADDY!!! (please no more drinking from the carton). Our little new boy Chason, he's so different than Coral and Canyon as babies. When he wakes up the look in his eyes when he sees his daddy is so beautiful. His eyes match yours.

All three of our children are blessed to have a father as great as you. As a husband your a 10. Thank you for all you do for me. You are the love of my life and truly my best friend. Happy birthday Curtis
This is a poem I found online...

The Best Man I Ever Knew

When we married, I saw you as perfect,
The ideal husband and more;
I thought I knew all about you,
All the things to love and adore.

But when you became a father,
I saw new qualities to treasure.
You enrich all our lives in fresh ways;
As a dad, you bring so much pleasure.

Our children are forever blessed
To have a father like you,
And I love you more than ever,
You’re the best man I ever knew.

I Believe

I Believe...
Two people can look at
the exact same thing
and see something totally different.

I Believe...
That your life can be changed
in a matter of seconds
by people who
don't even know you.

I Believe...
That even when you think
you have no more to give,
when a friend cries out to you -
you will find the strength to help.

I Believe...
That credentials on the wall
do not make you a decent human being.

I Believe...
That the people you care about most in life
are taken from you too soon.

I Believe...
The happiest of people
don't necessarily have the best of everything;
they just make the most of everything.

I Believe...
That you should send this
to all of the people that you believe in,
I just did

Fun at the Circus

Last night we went to the Circus. The kids had a blast. We started out with a face painting for Coral and a spider down Canyon arm. We ate popcorn, cotton candy and snow cones. I love the Circus. I have taken the kids once before but they really don't remember it. So I hope at least Coral and Canyon will remember how much fun they had this time.

Chason 6 Months

Can you believe it, my little boy is 6 months. Curtis and I took Chason to his 6 month check up yesterday. Needless to say he getting big. Chason loved sitting on the table playing with the paper. He kept tearing the paper and putting into his mouth. The nurse weighed he at 17.8, he's length was 26 1/2 and his head was 44 1/2. He was in the 50% growth chart except for his head which was 75%, that just means he's going to be really smart. lol The doctors were a little shocked that he was already sitting by himself. I don't think they believed us until Curtis put Chason on the table and my prince sat all by himself. Also only 6 months old and drinking from a sippy cut. He also able to stand with help for about a minute. He likes to hold two toys at the same time and loves to smile at everyone. I like to take the credit for this, but I believe all the credit goes to Coral and Canyon who play with Chason about 70% of the time. Chason loves watching them and is so determined to keep up. So the doctors said Chason was doing great all his parts are growing and he's past his development stage for a six month old. On the down side though we ended our appointment with 3 shots. My little guy only cried for about 20 seconds. I have started him on some foods, he loves sweet potatoes and bananas. I still just really love having him to myself at feeding time. His next appointment is in October, he'll be 9 months. I told the doctors by than he'll be walking and they laughed. Dr.Kauffman said maybe crawling. Well folks he's already on his knees pushing himself across the room. Moms do know best.

FUN DAYS

Curtis and I love taking the kids out for a fun night. In a couple of the pictures Coral and Canyon are riding a truck at the Mont Alto fair. We have been taking both kids to this fair since they could walk. I always take this picture of them. (i just have to find them now). The other pictures are pictures of the kids enjoying some good times together at the park.

CHALLENGE

My sister calls me first thing this morning, "I have a Challenge for you". Oh boy now what!! I have to get real with not only everybody but myself. Not easy. So the Challenge is to write 10 true things about yourself. I hope you find yourself thinking and join the CHALLENGE.

1. Lets get this one out in the open... I realllllllly don't enjoy writing. I can't spell; I'm unable to express myself correctly when writing. Boy does it stress me out thinking about what I'm going to write. NOW YOU KNOW WHY I TALK SO MUCH..
2. I love watching TV.. I DVR everything don't think much of commercials.
3. I don't enjoy getting out of bed in the morning. I remember my mom would try to get someone else to wake me as a child. Family would pay her not to. Now my kids come in jump on the bed and I turn the cartoons on so I can sleep I little longer. I need a coffee pot next to the bed, Please.
4. Can you say Anxiety.. I fear everything. My mind is always playing games on me. If my phone rings too early I think something bad has happened. My husband is running late, I hope he didn't get in an accident. I'm slowly learning I have no control. So why Stress..
5. Going to new things with lots of people is pretty scary for me. I always try to go with a friend so I don't feel alone. I feel like an outsider standing by myself.
6. I sometimes am jealous of my husband who gets up in the morning by himself goes into the bathroom to take a nice peaceful shower. Getting dressed without someone yelling I need something. Yeah, I know he goes to work and work is stressful, but sometimes it just seems SO appealing. Just getting up with no one around and enjoy a nice cup of coffee with SILENCE.
7. I truly love making new things but I don't finish anything I start. I have 100 projects started and not one finished. (10000 pictures, no albums)
8. I hate staying home. I always wake up feed the kids and we're off for a day of fun. Especially on Thursday, Friday and Saturdays I love YARD SALES.
9. I love taking care of people. I enjoy taking problems and solving them. Just don’t expect me to following my own advice.
10. I don't like when someone is mad at me. I act as if I don’t care about things, but deep down it gets under my skin. I also believe I’m just getting older (and yes maybe wiser) and I’m changing a little bit..lol

Mommy's Prince

My baby boy whom I call prince is getting so big so fast. As most of you know I enjoy working part time with my mom's business. I have flexible hours and most importantly I can bring my prince to work. I wanted to share how busy his day gets when working with mommy(not...uncle Harold). As you can see he's having a blast until he gets caught playing to much in grandma's office. Than the fun ends!!! He sleeps. SO SWEET!
