Our busy days

The kids really enjoy going to Red Bridge for play time. Kristy I love you. She loves taking the kids on Tuesday to play than maybe some swimming. To be that young again and be able to run around. But I have to share a secret today kicked her but. After some play time with mommy at the Rec Center. Kristy picked the kids up at 11am to head to the swimming pool, but first hitting lunch at our house. She said I'll see you around 1:30. I was thinking to myself wow she's good. So she called around one and I was heading home. We didn't go swimming today. Oh, know I thought. She says it doesn't take a 4 and 5yr old 15minutes to eat. I just laughed. I keep thinking their's going to be a day when Kristy doesn't show up.
A DAY OF SKATING: Coral had more fun playing on the floor than skating on her feet. Canyon skating like a pro doing laps.

Canyon helping his sister skate. They are so good together and really enjoy helping each other. Only when no one is watching.

Salute to Anatomy & Physiology

The last few weeks the kids have been practing for their first big performance. Tonight at the Capitol Theatre Coral and Canyon sung their little hearts out in the show, "Salute to Anantomy & Physiology". The show was full of wonderful people ages babies thru ??? sharing their talents. We had cheerleading, dance teams, comedy, choirs, bands, acts, games and prizes. It's as, Woody the director would call it, Cumberland Valley Sampler. Coral and Canyon with a hand full of other pre-schoolers were on top of their game singing their hearts out. Here are a few photos before the show started

The kids sung three songs: Tony Chest Nut, Brother John, and If your Happy and You Know It. I was sad to find out when the show was over my video camera battery was dead. The kids first show and no video. At least I have lots of pictures.

The kids were so full of life when the show ended. They all did an excellent job. Canyon threw himself on the stage, and started break dancing. Coral and little Haley smiling ear to ear looking for Tori to come on stage to join them. After lots pictures it was time to go home.

A NIGHT AT CLUGGY'S

The kids really enjoy going to cluggy's to play in the tunnels, practice batting and most importantly winning tickets. It's a great place to take the kids when Curtis isn't home. This time around though we had lots of company. Kristy who is becoming more of a family member than a friend brought her joyful fun self along with a new friend for us to meet Krista. As you can see the kids once again had a blast.
Both Coral and Canyon loved being in the batting cages. Canyon swing is getting really good. Coral loves having the balls throw to her from the side.

Chason he just laughs and smiles with a cute hard hat on. He also tried out the plastic balls and really did not like them.
They played lots of air hockey and cut the cheese.
Chason and I really had a fun time playing "deal or no deal". Thanks again girls for making life so much fun. The kids are still talking about how much fun they had two days later.

PS. HAPPY BIRTHDAY KRISTA

HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY CHASON

This time one year ago I was sitting in my hospital room with my husband, mom and sister waiting for Chason to enter this world. From 7:15am till 1pm was not a very happy time for me. I was induced and wished I could have changed my mind after that needle went into me. I didn't remember this much pain with the other two. At 12:30pm. I remember going into the bathroom looking at my husband saying I can't do this anymore. I remember looking at my sister and asking her to pray with me. So many things go through your mind when your giving birth. Is all this pain real, could something be wrong? Why is it taking so long? I just wanted the pain to stop. I remember being so hard on myself for even thinking about an epidural. I looked at Curtis and asked him would he be mad at me if I asked for one. He just hugged me and said your so strong. I had Coral and Canyon both neutral with no drugs also with just a few hours. I had heard horrible things about an epidural. I knew this couldn't go on. Bless all those women who go hours and sometimes days giving birth. I have a true respect for you. So after lots of thought we had an epidural. I'm the type of person when I'm in pain I need quite. No one can say a word. No one was allowed to say a word. I just wanted my husband next to me holding my hand and the room being dark and quite. Things changed real fast through when that needle went into my spine. I was laughing so hard I was crying. My contractions were long and hard and I'm just sitting there talking up a storm. I was lucky to have a good experience with an epidural. Not everyone is so lucky. Everyone was eating and talking and life was great. Why did it take me three kids to find out how good drugs are. The epidural calmed me down and Chason came into the world an hour later. He was so beautiful. He was born at 2:03 pm, 6pounds, 12ounces and 19inches long. Today my little baby boy isn't so little anymore. He's walking around the house into the rooms with no one's help. Carrying a smile with him where ever he is. Chason is a true blessing to this family. One of the cutiest things he does these days he rolls himself on the floor and lays himself down than looking up with a smile that just melts your heart. It's funny how different three children from the same parents can be. HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY BABY BOY. MOMMY, DADDY, CORAL AND CANYON LOVE YOU.
