EASY BAKE OVEN

THANK YOU NANA AND PEPE FOR THE EASY BAKE OVEN. WE'VE HAD A BLAST BAKING CAKES, COOKIES AND MORE CAKES. FOR THOSE OF YOU THAT DON'T KNOW MY SISTER AND I HAD AN EASY BAKE OVEN. THE BAD PART WE LIVED IN TWO DIFFERENT HOUSE HOLDS. JENNY AND I HAVE TWO VERSIONS OF THE STORY. TO MAKE A LONG STORY SHORT I DON'T REMEMBER PLAYING WITH IT. THE STORY IS BROUGHT UP AT LEAST TWICE A YEAR. WE WERE ONLY ABOUT 6 OR 7. WE WERE DEPRIVED AS KIDS. SO WHEN PEPE & NANA BOUGHT THE KIDS ONE IT WAS MEMORIES AGAIN.

THEY MIXED,MIXED AND MIXED MORE. WITHOUT ME LOOKING BOTH ATE HALF THE BOWL WITH ALMOST NOTHING LEFT TO MAKE THE COOKIES.

AS YOU CAN SEE THE KIDS LOVED PUTTING THEIR COOKIES IN THE OVEN THEMSELVES. IT WAS SO WONDERFUL TO WATCH HOW PROUD THEY ARE FOR MAKING THEIR OWN COOKIES. MY TWO BABIES ARE GROWING UP.

WE'RE FINISHED! THE KIDS REALLY LOVED COLORING COOKIES AND HAVING THEIR MOUTHS TURN COLORS. WE HAD A BLAST.

Coral (5th) & Canyon's (4th) Birthday

Coral and Canyon had a blast with their friends. They both shared birthdays this year together at the skating rink. All the kids enjoyed themselves as they put on skates and danced to the music.

The kids enjoyed the hooky pooky when we weren't falling on the ground.

Then we had lots of cake to eat. I think the big kids enjoyed that part the best. The small kids didn't stay sitted that long off to the rink they went.

Then the skates came off and the real fun started. Running around the rink in our socks. playing on the bikes and throwing balls.

It was another great birthday party for the STUMBAUGH KIDS. Thank you everyone who made it specail for them.

Talent Show

I was talking in the kitchen on Sunday when Coral walked up to Curtis and I all dressed up and said two minutes to the show. A smile came over my face with joy. I had no idea what was going on.

So we go into Coral's room where the toy box is in the middle of the room. I was told I had to sit there with daddy by my side. The two boys on our lap. Then she picked up her guiter and sang her heart out.

I really wish you could hear her when she's singing. I wasn't able to upload the video so I'll type what she was sining.

"Mommy and Daddy need a break, there very special and I love them. mommy and daddy need a break. I'm a big sister I love my brothers."

Coral you are my sunshine.

The boys ended the talent show jumping around Coral's room.

Chason's Baby Dedication

Sunday November 2, 2008 Curtis and I made a promise before the Lord to do everything in our power to raise Chason in a godly way, pray for him until he's able to make a decision on his own to follow God.

Please allow a moment for our family to come into your thoughts as you pray. Please pray that Curtis and I keep learning and growing in the Lord's word. To not only teach but follow the lessons we teach our children.

And she (Hannah) made a vow, saying, "O LORD Almighty, if you will only look upon your servant's misery and remember me, and not forget your servant but give her a son, then I will give him to the LORD for all the days of his life, and no razor will ever be used on his head." 1 Samuel 1:11 (NIV)

Halloween Night 2008

Our church opened it's door again this Halloween to have a Harvest Festival for the community. We got to share food, games, candy, stories and the kids had a blast dressing up. It was pretty neat this year. They had a ghost story through the hall in sharing with the kids why you should not fear the night. As they showed Jesus walking on water, a monster in the hall and puppets being sick as they explained to the kids you not need to fear the dark with Jesus in your life your not alone. I really enjoyed our ghost walk. We also enjoyed lots of games and had crafts to do. Our family had another wonderful evening together.

WHAT IS THAT...is it a plane, a bird. Watch out it's super Chason. Chason had a blast once he got his second wind. Running around on the floor, laughing and playing with all the kids. He had a very eventful night.

The kids had there faces/hands painted. Coral had a horse on her face and Canyon had a star with a rainbow on his hand. Brenda is with Canyon. The kids love Mrs.Brenda. She has a heart of gold and loves to share the love of Jesus to children.

We ended the night with driving around our neighborhood for a couple of trick or treats. The kids had a great Halloween.
